About me

The Mc Gender School of Irish Dancing is an associate member of the World Irish Dance Association. The director of the school - Snezana Vavra Mc Gender - is currently studying to achieve her W.I.D.A.- Teacher qualification (T.C.R.G. / A.D.C.R.G) with the organisation.

Over the year the school will be taking part in many events to promote Irish Dance and is looking forward to participating in further competition (Feis).

I would like to express my special thanks to my good friend Sean for sharing his knowledge of Traditional Irish Dance with me. Without his patient but persistent teaching, I would never have learned so many traditional Irish dances in such a short time. My students and I are proud to have him as a teacher and friend.
